If the Rp. 1,000 becomes Rp. 1, then what would we name Rp.100?

The problem with disseminating information to people who do not own a television is not a difficult one. The government extends from the president to the neighborhood unit level, right? Even information about the BLSM (Direct Temporary Aid) which targeted a portion of society was able to reach every citizen. Why would a currency change which affects every citizen be so difficult?

As an ordinary citizen, I am okay with this. What can we do anyway? As long as the decision is useful, constructive and advantageous for all of society, not just officials. I also hope that with this change in currency we will see the end of corruption, collusion, and nepotism.

I agree, as long as information is given out in advance to avoid confusion and false perception, also that the colors be made distinct, unlike the 100.000 and 10.000 which look quite similar.

I agree with this change, but a policy has to be made and the people must be made aware of it because there are still isolated villages that have no knowledge of the internet or news on the TV.

I think the government has not made any socialization yet on this isssue. Please consider people living in remote area, to prevent them from being a victim of any unjusted behaviour of others. It is suggested that a schedule of socialization be made and practiced by the authorities officials.

Change is important. Indonesia must progress and prove to other countries that it is number 1, the best in the world, rich and independent, with morals and faith.

Now this is the change we have been waiting for, especially pertaining to the currencies. As ordinary citizens we have a few suggestions regarding the currency; first, the colors of banknotes of different values should be different and distinct so that the public can easily remember and tell them apart, especially with regard to senior citizens. Secondly, because cellphones are now widely utilized across the country, official information from the government should be disseminated and the data stored by TELKOM. Thirdly, because a bill on currency is planned we suggest that it addresses punishment for damaging currency. This is to make transactions smoother for everyone and also to save government funds used to replace damaged currency. Thank you.
