BANGKOK, Thailand -- Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra arrived in Davos, Switzerland on Friday (January 27th) for the 42th annual World Economic Forum (WEF) with the aim of reviving confidence in her country after last year's devastating floods, MCOT reported.
Yingluck said that she would also use the forum, which is attended by over 2,500 political and business leaders, to publicise the World Economic Forum on East Asia to be held in Bangkok from May 30th to June 1st.
In addition to delivering the keynote speech at the opening conference on "Women as the Way Forward", she will also meet with political leaders form Poland, Tanzania, Switzerland, and Pakistan, as well as with business leaders from Sumitomo Chemical, Coca-Cola, and Swiss Re.
