Man beheaded, burned in grisly Yala attack

YALA, Thailand – Insurgents continued their attacks on Yala province Thursday (August 30th), killing a man who was heading to a hospital, then beheading the corpse and burning the body, local media reported.

Police said Tuandaoh Tuansulong, 58, was driving his pickup from his home in Bannang Sata district early in the morning to Yala Hospital for dialysis treatment.

Police said he was ambushed by a group of men who shot him in the head, chopped off his head and threw it to the roadside before torching the vehicle.
