BANGKOK, Thailand – Officials say militants opened fire on a karaoke shop in the Deep South province of Narathiwat on Wednesday evening (January 9th), injuring four people inside.

The Bangkok Post reported Thursday that the victims – three women employees and a 14-year-old boy – were wounded in Narathiwat's Muang district by gunfire and the blast of a bomb planted on board a motorcycle that had been stolen in 2011. All four are being treated in hospital.
