JAKARTA, Indonesia – Convicted drug trafficker Freddy Budiman was transferred Tuesday (July 30th) to a maximum-security facility on Nusakambangan after a model told reporters she visited him regularly in prison for sex and drugs, using the warden's room with his permission, local media reported.

Thurman Hutapea was dismissed from his post as chief warden of Cipinang Prison in East Jakarta after Vanny Rosyane described the privileges afforded the convict, who was recently sentenced to death for smuggling thousands of ecstasy pills from China, The Jakarta Post reported. During his transfer Tuesday, guards reportedly confiscated methamphetamine from his pockets.

Tengah Suharso, head of the Division of the Ministry of Justice and Human Rights in Central Java, told Merdeka.com the inmate would be put in the most restrictive cell in the jail. "There is no special treatment for him," he said.
