BANGKOK, Thailand – Police arrested four men Thursday (August 8th) for possession of more than 230kg of heroin in Bangkok, AFP reported.

The first suspect, a 39-year-old Thai, was detained at a hotel in a Bangkok suburb. Police said the heroin was stored inside his car, sealed in nearly 700 packets.

The other three suspects, two of them Chinese and the third a Taiwanese national, were arrested at the airport as they prepared to board a flight to Hong Kong. All were charged with drug possession. Police did not provide a street value estimate of the haul.
