JAKARTA, Indonesia –Sigit Indrajid confessed Wednesday (December 4th) to being the mastermind of the foiled plot to bomb the Burma embassy in Jakarta, saying he was "still at war" with anyone oppressing Muslims, according to AFP.

Sigit testified he led a group of Islamic extremists that networked over Facebook to plan the May attack. The group wanted to avenge the harsh treatment of Rohingya in Burma.

Asked by a judge if he regretted his actions, Sigit said no, and added: "I am still at war -- as long as there is oppression of Muslims".

Sigit faces three charges, including possession of weapons or explosive materials, which carries a maximum penalty of death.

He said he worked with an accomplice, Separiano, who has also been charged by the same court over the plot.
