Police have netted more than two dozen terror suspects this month, but say many are still at large – and may be planning to disrupt next year's national election.

Regardless of whether or not they are members of a sect, they are victims that are often said to be terrorists. What is apparent is a conspiracy built by them and they are the ones who kill.

People of faith should not be tempted by terrorism carried out by irresponsible parties. As of now there are no more wars. There is only the Akhlakul Karimah towards other human beings, because the Prophet Muhammad as the Rahmatan Lil'alamin (savior to all the world). Why must there be terrorists? It seems only PKI had the traits of terrorism. No teaching in the Al-Quran tells us to kill people for it is a Mahgdhub (wordly desire) of people who are reluctant and have forgotten God's love.

Eradicating terrorism is indeed not easy, but if efforts in combating radicalism are carried out consistently they will bear fruit. More effort is needed by everyone to make Indonesia better.

There will always be people with terrorist mentalities in this world, as long as the devil still lives, and as long as people continue to be self righteous because truth belongs to God. As long as people are self righteous, there will always be those who turn them against each other like Abu Lahab (an Islamic terrorist) who always disrupts worship and finds ways to herd people back to the unenlightened era.
A caliph is freely chosen by Muslims everywhere for his wisdom and spiritual qualifications. The ISIL leader's proclamation of himself as caliph over all Muslims violates the principles of Islam.
Indonesia's tradition of moderate, tolerant Islam is under threat by hard-line groups who are imposing their conservative views on others and intimidating religious minorities.
