Manila hosts Islamic Fashion Festival

MANILA, Philippines – The Islamic Fashion Festival (IFF), which aims to foster a better understanding of the beauty and gentleness of Islam through fashion, had its Filipino debut on Thursday (February 23rd) in Manila, thanks to the efforts of Malaysian Ambassador Ibrahim Saad and his wife.

The show will feature collections by top Malaysian and Filipino designers at the Inter Continental Manila through Friday, reported the International Islamic News Agency.

Wife of Prime Minister Najib Razak, Rosmah Mansor, as well as IFF founder and Chairman Raja Rezza Shah will attend together with other Malaysian VIPs and royalty.

The IFF, which had its first show in Kuala Lumpur in 2006, has also taken place in Abu Dhabi, Astana, Bandung, Dubai, Singapore, New York, London, and Monte Carlo., according to its website.
