JAKARTA, Indonesia – Police arrested a man allegedly involved in a suicide bombing of a police station as well as militant training activities, AFP quoted National Police spokesman Boy Rafli Amar as saying Tuesday (December 31st).

Detachment 88 arrested Ato Margono on Monday on suspicion of escorting a suicide bomber to a police station in Sulawesi in June, Boy said.

Ato is linked to the country's most-wanted terror suspect, Eastern Indonesia Mujahidin leader Santoso.

"He was involved in a number of terrorist activities, and he is believed to have shot a villager dead in a separate incident," Boy said.
